NAIMA Welcomes New Board Members And Salutes Service Of Retiring Colleague

Alexandria, VA (April 5, 2006) – The North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) welcomes the addition of three new board members and pays tribute to the service of a past chairman and current board member.  Joining NAIMA’s Board of Governors are Roy Dean of Owens Corning, and new NAIMA members, Gary Romes of Guardian Building Products and Lee Houlditch of Amerrock Products LP. The Association also says farewell to George Kiemle who has served the industry for more than 30 years. Kiemle served as chairman of the NAIMA Board of Governors from 2002-2004 and is retiring this year from Owens Corning.

“George Kiemle has been an integral part of NAIMA, and we will miss his insight and steady guidance. We wish him all the best in his retirement,” said Ken Mentzer, president and CEO of NAIMA. “We are also delighted to have Gary and Lee join the NAIMA Board. They bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to NAIMA, and we look forward to working with them to grow the market for thermal and acoustical insulation.”
