NAIMA Welcomes New Officers and Salutes Service of Long-Serving LeadersAlexandria, VA (December 07, 2004) The North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) welcomes the addition of two new board members and pays tribute to the service of two of its leaders. Joining NAIMA’s Board of Governors as the new Chairman is Howard C. Deck, President of CertainTeed Corp, and as Vice Chairman is Jeff Brisley, Vice President, Residential Sales and Marketing of Knauf Insulation. They replace George Kiemle of Owens Corning and Jorma Toivonen of CertainTeed respectively. NAIMA also pays tribute to Bill Black, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Knauf Insulation, who is retiring from NAIMA’s board following 20 years of service. Black is the longest serving NAIMA board member and led the Association as president for three separate terms. “Bill Black has been an integral part of NAIMA for two decades. We will miss Bill and wish him all the best in his retirement,” said Ken Mentzer, President of NAIMA. “We are also delighted to have Howard and Jeff join the NAIMA Board. They bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to NAIMA, and we look forward to working together as NAIMA moves to a new era.” NAIMA also congratulates Ken Mentzer who is celebrating his 25th anniversary with the Association. As President, Mentzer has been influential in increasing awareness of the benefits of fiber glass and rock and slag wool insulation. |
