NAIMA Announces New AppointmentAlexandria, VA - June 18, 2001 - Matt Wald has been named Director of Federal and State Programs for the North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA). He will be responsible for directing all activities regarding federal, state and local energy efficiency/acoustic programs and for positioning member products within those programs as the premier thermal and acoustic insulations. Prior to joining NAIMA, Wald was Director of Government and Industry Relations at the American Subcontractors Association in Alexandria, Virginia, a six thousand member construction trade association. Previously he was Director of Government Relations at the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association in Bethesda, Maryland. He also served for several years on Capitol Hill as a legislative assistant to members of the House and Senate. A native of Arlington, VA, Wald holds a B.A. in Political Science from Virginia Tech. He lives in Falls Church, VA. |
