(Alexandria, VA)  January  4, 2000 — The Board of Governors of the North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) recently elected officers of the organization. Re-elected as Chairman of the Board was Bruce H. Cowgill. Cowgill is president of the Insulation Group for CertainTeed Corporation headquartered in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. Mr. Cowgill has served as the association’s senior company leader since February 1998.

Thomas L. Caltrider, Senior Vice President of the Insulation Group for Johns Manville, Denver, Colorado, was elected as NAIMA’s Vice Chairman. Mr. Caltrider is responsible for all of JM’s insulation products, both residential and commercial/industrial.

Kenneth D. Mentzer was elected President and CEO of NAIMA, and Angus Crane was elected Vice President and General Counsel.

"Cowgill’s reelection as Chairman of the Board underscores the tremendous confidence in his abilities and support for his leadership that is apparent among the other members of the organization," said Ken Mentzer. "As Vice Chairman, Tom Caltrider brings a strong energy and environmental background to NAIMA that will benefit our industry in its continuing leadership in providing a readily available, cost effective technology that cuts energy use while improving the environment."
