NAIMA's product committee provide application specific information and resources. These committees are:


Air Handling

The Air Handling Committee of NAIMA is very active in promoting the indoor environmental benefits (sound, temperature and moisture control) that insulated air ducts bring to a home or building. The Air Handling Insulation Committee has conducted extensive research on its products and works with technical colleges, code organizations, contractors and specifier groups to promote a healthy indoor environment through proper specification, design and construction of insulated HVAC duct systems.

Building Insulation

The Building Insulation Committee of NAIMA focuses its efforts primarily in three areas; promoting the safe installation methods of fiber glass insulation to builders, insulation contractors and home owners; encouraging the development and enforcement of energy codes, and marketing the benefits of an energy-efficient home.

The NAIMA Metal Building Committee focuses its efforts on promoting ASHRAE Standard 90.1 and providing information on metal building insulation systems that can help builders cost-effectively meet the 90.1 energy code.
